About Florida Corporate & Private Event Entertainer Alexander Beresford
Like many corporate entertainers, Alexander became interested in magic and the unusual at an early age. But unlike other performers, Alex wasn’t just captivated by the popular TV magicians of the day. Alex was attracted to the mysterious, especially mysteries of the mind.
While growing up in Los Angeles, Alexander became fascinated with Uri Geller, watching his television appearances whenever possible. His other influences include the late great Max Maven, The Amazing Kreskin, and other performers who worked with the mind.
Getting ‘Hands-On’ at an Early Age
Many magic performers are self-taught. They go to the library for books. As they get older, they may buy books or special props. But grinding out performing skills on their own is difficult and arduous.
Alexander had the good fortune to live in an area with magic available as a part-time job. While living in Arlington, TX, he worked at the Queen of Hearts magic shop as a teen and was taught performance and presentation by the owner Carlos who taught classes there. Before that while growing up in Los Angeles, he saw magic demonstrated live when he visited the magic store on Main Street in Disneyland, as well as attending The Magic Castle and a hobby shop nearby where magic was sold.
These opportunities to get ‘up close and personal’ were key to his development as a performer.
Other Metaphysical Interests
Alexander fleshed out his performing education and background with a slew of additional skills and interests, including a degree in Theatrical Arts. Alex is also a Reiki Master, a Qigong Practitioner and Instructor. When conducting his readings, Alexander uses the Lenormand,Tarot and other tools.

Alexander splits his time between living in South Florida…and a haunted collage in Derbyshire, England. Yes, really.
